Welcome to a new year in the life of an Eco Council Member at Brookside. Miss Wells and Mr Kaplan are looking forward to meeting the new members for this year. Our first meeting will be on Tuesday 25th September.

Great British Spring Clean and Wrigleys Litter Less Campaign
Since December the Eco Council have been very busy litter picking around our school and on the paths near to our school! The most amount of litter we collected was 4.5kg! We celebrated all of our hard work by going to Abbey Park on Friday 22nd March 2019 with 33 other Leicester schools! We met Steve Walsh and of course Filbert the Fox too! Fabulous Parliament Trip!
We were really lucky to get the chance to visit parliament as an Eco and School council. We had a very long journey but it was worth it! Here are some photos of our day…
